Merry Christmas :-)

I know it's been a while since I last posted but as its Christmas I thought I would make an effort.

Caught again...

I was only trying to get a little treat for myself! My humans are rooting around in this cupboard all the time. Why am I not allowed?

Summer.

So I have been enjoying the summer. Some days have been quite hot however so my humans started looking for a way to cool me down. Now I don't know what genius came up with the idea of 'wetting your cat to cool them down on hot days' but if I ever meet them.....

No room for two.

Seriously people, stop sitting in my spaces! I'm not putting up with it any more. Grrrrr!

I love my chair.

I keep telling them this is my chair.

Fat Bob.

So this rather cool cat scratcher that I'm sat in called a 'fat bob' and I've pretty much ignored it for the last 12 months. 

I think it rather suits me though, what do you think?

Wayward toe!

Can you see that little toe at the bottom of the picture? How did that get there? Who's toe is it? I wonder what it tastes like? Comments please, should I grab it or not?

There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home. Now I just need some ruby slippers....

Guard duty.

Just been catching up on the local news and it turns out that there was a burglar on the loose yesterday, the police had the helicopter out searching for him.

So I thought it would be a good idea to do some patrols around the garden. 

Not sure that my garden is big enough for a helicopter to land in so I suppose I shall have to keep an eye out. 

This is the life.

So this is how I want to have my dinner from now on. I will lay on my back, all nice and comfortable (please provide something soft to lie on) and open up nice and wide and you can just drop little bits of fish in for me.

I'm done with all this getting up and wandering out to my bowl, it's very unhygienic and really too much effort so the humans can start earning their keep and feed me in the proper manner that I deserve!

Staying in touch.

I find that I prefer to use iPhones, I found this one on my chair (which ergo makes it mine) but think it may be a little big for my paws...

Technology is amazing, I just push my nose on the screen and the phone does whatever I want it to. It really is very clever.

I'm all feet!

Well look at me in this picture, looks like I have more than the normal number of feet most felines have.

They say that the camera adds ten pounds, I bet they never thought it would add extra feet!

Good morning everyone, today you are in for a real treat, a video of me enjoying a bowl of well earned cod.

Apparently it's not normal to purr whilst eating but I was so happy I just couldn't help myself.

Super Cat!

My humans went to watch the Avengers movie last weekend. They seem to like movies about superheroes. I didn't get an invite, they very rudely left me at home but that is a story for another day.

So I thought I could do with a super power and reckoned that 'laser eyes' would be the one to go for. With these bad boys I can open anything, especially my packets of dinner.

No way they can stand up to my scary vision. And if anyone tries to give me any attitude, they will be getting a zap too!

Birthday....

Can you believe this, it was my birthday on the 7th May and they all forgot it!

I didn't get a single card or present, not even a Happy Birthday song!

Do you think that Cat Line will be able to advise on this issue? Should I have a little protest at the family, get them to realise their mistake and ride the 'rollercoaster of guilt' to get me lots of treats :-)

Voting...

Well it looks like people are starting to vote on my site, I'm not quite getting the same levels of turn out that the UK General Election is seeing at the moment but votes are being placed and the preliminary results are somewhat surprising.

Most people like the changes but I am curious about the person who went with 'Did it change?'...

Anyway there is still plenty of time left to vote so come on people, push that button please :-)

Website news...

OK so this is going to be a little different from the usual posts, it being Election Day here in the UK and me being ever so tired after another hard day snoring in a corner.

I thought it was about time that I refreshed the look on my site and have been playing with some layouts the past few days. Yes I know, you don't have to say it, I must be really clever to do all that with nothing but a pair of furry paws! I just managed it, OK?

Also our regular readers may have noticed some advertising appear on the site. Don't worry about it, we added it mainly to see if we could add it but now it is there be assured that the adverts are generated by Google and not some teen age Russian hacker. Anyone that does click on an advert however, will earn me a few pence which would be gratefully received. You have no idea how much it costs to look this good!

That leads me on to polls. I thought that as our 'Government Wannabes' are al hoping you will vote for them today, then I would set up a little poll of my own here. I am not sure exactly what I am going to ask everyones opinion on, but rest assured, it will be relevant and interesting and probably about fish.

In trouble...

So it turns out that my claws and the new sofa are not supposed to be playing together. Apparently I have somehow pulled a thread out of the armchair but I am not so sure.

It seems however that 'innocent until proven guilty' does not apply in my household and they have gone and covered my armchair with my blankie!

I've got a really long leg..

Do you think my leg is a little long? I'm sure it's just camera angles and all that but after seeing the photo I am a little worried.

I mean look at it, it is huge!

Anyway it's all in proportion, I am just a big boned boy thats all, my Mum said so...

Besides I am giving my blankie a big cuddle.

There was quite a bit of snickering after they took this photo. I can tell you this though, they wouldn't be laughing half as loud if I gave one of them a swipe!

Hunting... how to do it properly.

Today I want to talk to you all about hunting. Yes I know that this topic is an ethical minefield, people feel very strongly either way about the issue and it is something that I have some knowledge of, first hand (I am a cat you know).

So my thoughts on the matter... well I think that the photo says it all. This is about as dangerous as my hunting exploits get. It's not that I'm scared or am not very good at it, I have caught my fair share of socks over the years I can tell you.

Lets be honest here, we don't live in the dark ages now. We have TV and the Internet and dinner comes out of little pouches that appear in the cupboard once or twice a week. There is no need for all that running about, it's a complete waste of energy.

Just get yourself a little fluffy mouse like I did!

Holiday time.

Well this is all very interesting, I was having a little mosey around the front room when I came across some magazines on the floor. Seems that the humans are planning a little holiday.

So these all look like rather nice places to go, but after having a look through them I didn't find any facilities for the small 'fluffy' type of guest, like me.

I'm sure that this is just an oversight on their behalf, perhaps if I somehow managed to point this out to them they will pick somewhere more friendly.

It`s really hard to turn pages with paws you know!

And it doesn't help that they have laid them out in such a way that they cover each other!

I don't know, I am starting to get the impression that maybe they don't want me to come with them on this little trip. We shall have to see about that!

Ok here we go, I'm just going to fold this page over and see if they get the hint. They are good like that, it doesn't take too much for them to get the hint. Like recently when I started throwing up my dinner unless they poached me cod in milk.

Fluffy cushion.

With the recent purchase of the new sofa and cushions, I have managed to appropriate one of the old fluffy cushions all for myself.

It does drive me mad though when I get woken up for a photo opportunity, although I have to say I am looking fine! Even half asleep I'm gorgeous, if I say so myself.

Shame though that me and me fluffy cushion have been relegated to the spare room, apparently it doesn't fit the new colour scheme in the lounge any longer. Not sure what that is all about, humans are weird!

Climbing.

It is a well known fact that my breed loves to climb. I spend many hours climbing all over the furniture, jumping from chair to chair and being generally awesome and athletic. 

Take this shot for example, here I am caught in the act of scaling one of my cat scratchers. Just needed to stop for a minute to catch my breath and enjoy the view. 

Hiding spot.

So this is one of my favourite hiding spots. I can squeeze myself under the bed and then enjoy listening to the repeated calls of my name when they are trying to find me. 

For some really weird reason, they like to know where I am when they go out. It's not like I'm going to be having a party or do some decorating whilst they are away. 

I do like this room though, it's full of fun things to knock over and move about. 

Moving to America!

I would like to bring everyone's attention to the comment on a recent photo of me by my friends in America!

Yes, I think I am too handsome for words! I think I shall move to America, where I will be appreciated. Now can I do that without leaving the house I wonder.

In my chair and all stretched out. Yep, this is the life!

New sofa!

My humans have bought me a new sofa, I have decided to take the armchair as its close to the TV and just about the right size!

Now I just need to stop them leaving their stuff lying around on my chair! It's very inconsiderate. Maybe I should call 'CatLine'.....

Today's dinner was awesome! It was so awesome I haven't moved much since stuffing my face this afternoon.

Have bag, will travel!

Think I have something here, am going to call it 'cat in a bag'. 

The idea is you can have a cat delivered to you wherever you are in a handy bag. It's genius.....

Fluffy cushion!

Maybe if I'm quiet enough and don't wriggle about too much they won't know I'm in here and I'll get to go to the gym with them....

Shru..

Did I tell you all about my Shru? It's a really cool interactive toy my human parents bought me. Saves them having to entertain me you see. 

Anyway that is me and my Shru. I'm just waiting for it to charge up a bit. Then me and Shru are going to party!
